this right here is the type of image that used to go straight to the delete file just because it was not perfect on a technical level. But this year, I have a new criteria. I want to shoot happiness... and this was the best I got of this funny-pancakes-after-school-snack-laugh-fest. Partly because I was laughing too. :)
I REALLY struggle to get good images of my oldest son. He is so difficult to shoot for many reasons (I always think I could open a special needs photography business if the whole wedding thing fails, but it would actually be more difficult!). SO I take what I can and move on. Because happiness never deserves the delete file and perfect is sometimes just an illusion.
That's also something that Daniel has taught me.
